Book flights after the plan, never before. The number of days is set by how long ceramic takes to make and how long bone takes to heal, and neither of those negotiates.
The realistic ranges
| Treatment | Trip one | Trip two | Gap between |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crowns or veneers | 5–7 days | Usually none | — |
| Single implant | 3–4 days | 5–7 days | 3–6 months |
| Implant with immediate crown | 5–7 days | 5–7 days | 3–6 months |
| Full arch (All-on-4 / All-on-6) | 7–10 days | 7–10 days | 3–6 months |
| Bone graft or sinus lift | 3–5 days | Implants later, separately | 4–9 months |
| Hair transplant | 3–4 days | None | — |
Why crowns take a week and not two days
A crown is prepared, scanned, milled, layered, stained, glazed, tried in, adjusted and cemented. The try-in is the point — it is where the shade and the bite get corrected while correction is still easy. Clinics that finish in two days have skipped it, and the fastest way to end up with a crown that is the wrong shade is to compress the week into a long weekend.
Why implants take months
Osseointegration — bone growing onto the fixture surface — takes three to six months and cannot be accelerated. Immediate loading protocols put a temporary tooth on straight away so you are never without teeth, but the temporary is a temporary. The definitive prosthesis is fitted on the second trip, after integration, and that is not a scheduling preference.
Building the itinerary
- Add two buffer days at the end. Swelling, a laboratory remake, or a bite that needs another adjustment are all normal and all cost a day.
- Do not schedule anything on the day you fly home.
- For sedation cases, bring somebody. You cannot be discharged alone.
- Keep the last afternoon free for the final check rather than for the Grand Bazaar.
The question to ask
Ask for the day-by-day schedule before you book anything: what happens on each day, and which day is the last clinical appointment. A clinic that can send that immediately has done it many times. A clinic that says “about a week” has not thought about your case yet.
